Console-ing Passions is a registered non-profit organization that supports the international education, expansion, and expression of gender and media studies.  Donations to CP help support the many extra-conference contributions the organization makes, including its website and webinars.

We also pay tribute to one of our founders, the exemplary television scholar Jane Feuer, through the Jane Feuer Memorial Fund, which offers aid to graduate students or precariously employed people seeking to attend CP conferences.

The Console-ing Passions Jane Feuer Memorial Fund will award a travel grant to ​at least one graduate student or precariously employed academic to help offset the cost of attending the Console-ing Passions conference. We will award more than one grant if our budget allows. Travel grant award winners will receive $500 to fund travel, lodging, and/or meals. Conference registration fees for award winners will also be waived.
