The CP Founders Memorial Travel Grant commemorates the feminist media studies scholars and artists who founded Console-ing Passions in 1989: Julie D’Acci, Jane Feuer, Mary Beth Haralovich, Lauren Rabinowitz, and Lynn Spigel.
In recognition of their efforts to create an intellectual space to present work and foster feminist scholarship on television and other media forms, Console-ing Passions will offer one travel grant to a junior scholar presenting a paper at each Console-ing Passions conference.
